There is a pain that comes after feeling content. You can feel warm and relaxed in the presence of your loved one who is by your side, but then wonderful memories come flooding back and you're reminded of how much they mean to you. Just like this moment, "Pain And Gain" will capture your heart with its sweet romance and rhythmless rhythm, which is effective in crafting a story out of nothingness. The main character played by Dwayne Johnson is to be played by Mark Wahlberg who was also credited as having written the script for this movie. Both actors play their roles remarkably well. It's no surprise to see Wahlberg in this type of role, especially with his previous work "Boogie Nights" which was also based on the world of Miami. The supporting cast includes Anthony Mackie as Daniel Lugo, Ed Harris as Victor Kershaw, Tony Shalhoub (who played Adrian Monk on TV) as Ray-Ray, Rob Corddry as Paul Doyle and Bar Paly (one of the many Russian brides) as Adrian Lugo. These two are supposed to be husband and wife in real life. The movie is all about three bodybuilders who come up with a crazy plan to kidnap rich businessman Victor Kershaw (Ed Harris). The three are led by Paul Doyle (Rob Corddry), but Kershaw soon ends up leading his own team against them because of their criminal acts. "Pain And Gain" is a film that has been described as "Lethal Weapon in reverse". "Pain And Gain" is about a bodybuilder who becomes the leader of an elite force of mercenaries when he struggles to save his marriage. One could argue that "Pain And Gain" is stylised action; however, the important thing in this film is not how it looks or what it does, but rather what you think and feel while watching it. "Pain And Gain" is an exciting movie with enough for everyone for whom action films are the name of the game. The narrative is full of twists and turns that come at just the right time. Audiences will be breaking into laughs often due to the comedy present in this film, but you'll also experience tear-jerking moments. The story takes us on a ride through a world of crime, danger and greed where one man's dream of glory becomes another's nightmare.
